our prayers of thanksgiving to our good God,
for our families, friends, nation, and the
many sacrifices made to ensure our freedom.
A tradition many families follow is to take time for each member, young and old,
to offer thanks for God's blessings. The joy of slowing down and listening
to family members express their thanks may be the miracle of the day.

A Thanksgiving Consecration
Dear Lord,
We consecrate this Thanksgiving Day
to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
through the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
We offer You this day with a joyful heart and a grateful spirit.
Please bless our family and friends, bless our time, and our conversation.
May our relationships be renewed and any division be healed.
Grant us safe travel as we offer all to You!
In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
